Mark Hestrin, M.D., Medical Director/Anesthesiologist in Santa Barbara
Mark Hestrin, age 44, is the Medical Director/Anesthesiologist of Aesthetic Surgical Partners of Santa Barbara, CA. He founded the practice out of desire to create a boutique-style, patient centered cosmetic surgery office-one that emphasizes QUALITY over QUANTITY of results and embodies the old fashion values of respect, patience, and compassion so absent from most physician offices.
Dr. Hestrin is board-certified in both Anesthesiology and Emergency Medicine, having trained at UCLA and Georgetown University respectively following his graduation from Northwestern University Medical School (Chicago, IL.) in 1986. His ER background is a great source of comfort to both his patients and surgical colleagues alike. Tailoring anesthesia to the specific clinical needs of the cosmetic surgery patients and those of the plastic surgeon dramatically enhances the entire surgical outcome and he has been doing so for nearly 15 years. Without exception, Dr. Hestrin prides himself in giving his patients an anesthesia experience so comfortable that it is truly second to none.
In the year 2000, Dr. Hestrin earned his MBA at UCLA to complement his medical education. With his free time, he enjoys sailing, architectural design, bicycling, and high performance sports car driving.
